USS Enterprise (CV6)
The objects and virtual environment of the USS Saratoga that you can tour through this website have been created by an artist studio under my direction. What is described on this page is a new project I started working on in late 2023 to develop the skills to create objects and environments on my own. The objects are created in Blender and brought into a virtual environment in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). The first image below shows the Inboard Profile and Flight Deck Plan of the USS Yorktown (CV-5). These plans have been used as reference to build a digital 3D model of the USS Enterprise (CV-6) from the keel up in Blender and then bring it into a gaming environment created in (UE5) to walk around and explore as it is developed.
Copies of original deck plans were printed in 1/16th scale and used as reference to develop the 3D model in Blender
